The TN Recycling Coalition appreciates our exhibitors, sponsors, and everyone who attended the 34th Annual Conference in partnership with the TN Chamber of Commerce & Industry. We hope you enjoyed learning about the latest environmental updates, hearing from our well-regarded speakers and panelists, attending the exhibitor hall, and networking with our diverse attendees. To our members who were unable to join us, below are some photos from the conference, and articles written about the sessions. We hope to see you next year in August at Gatlinburg, TN for the 35th Annual Conference.

ISustain Partners with Dollywood

ISustain and Dollywood Parks & Resorts presented their recycling partnership at the Tennessee Recycling Coalition's August 2023 Annual Conference. Dollywood Park faces unique recycling challenges due to their expansive property size, the sheer number of employees and guests visiting each day, along with the diversity of waste and recyclables generated onsite. Through its partnership with ISustain, Dollywood has expanded its recycling efforts across its theme park. Working together these creative recycling solutions will eventually expand to include Dollywood’s Splash Country and supporting Dollywood facilities. This partnership helps Dollywood continue to improve its sustainability practices and minimize its impact. For more information, please visit the ISustain website.

Welcome to the newly designed website for Tennessee Recycling Coalition. We are so excited that you have visited and look forward to getting to collaborate together to bring recycling education, training, and networking to the great State of Tennessee. Be sure to subscribe, so you don't miss out on any TRC updates.

Please feel return frequently to the site as we look to continue to add valuable recycling information to the site. Our goal is to try and let the TRC site be a resource to all our members, industry, municipalities, and individuals as you work to creating a better environment in TN.

What to expect:

We are going to start with the basics. Soon you will find templates for recycling carts, educational flier templates that can be printed off and used in your business, LEED waste planning template, Industrial Sustainability and Recycling Template. Basically a general toolbox of resource to aid you in your daily work.

From there, we have been working on developing a statewide member directory which will be a valuable resource to allow you as a member to have knowledge of who does what in TN as it relates to sustainable materials management and recycling.

Thank you for joining us and we look forward to seeing you soon.
